Entering the Promised Land of Kingsford
Today is shaping up to be a day of variety. Even as I speak, there are people preparing for the tidal wave of Scripture seminars looming over our Thursday. Preparations look like writing talks, practicing drama skits, game brainstorming and otherwise.
But we are into the weeks activities. There is a woman’s fellowship happing this mourning which some of the mission team are participating in by sharing testimonies and encouraging talks.
While that happens some of the men are going out into the promised land of Kingsford to scout it out. Unfortunately we have no Joshua’s or Kalab’s, but they’re Joshua’s and Kalab’s at heart!
At the suggestion of our chaplain Dan Wu some of the team are scouting out Kingsford to understand the area better. Looking for places people congregate and why. So they will be walking the streets and checking out the clubs. We want to find out what makes Kingsford tick. This is a fantastic way to learn how to minister to this area better.
As for the evening, we look forward to doing some training for the church as a few of our team lead sessions on evangelism, Bible story telling and reaching your workplace.
So please do pray for our day today, that these activities would not only grow us as a mission team in love of each other and God, but also the Holy Trinity Church in love and service too!
