Walk up

A team from Corrimal Anglican spent the morning today doing surveys in the local shopping centre and town. Admittedly, it was challenging however Brain Luong through determination and God’s grace managed to have some great conversations. He spoke to Muslims. He spoke to a man who called Jesus their Lord but “hated Church”. He spoke to another man who believed he had done too many things wrong to be saved. Praise God for these great conversations.

The Austi and Bulli mission teams went to an evangelistic training seminar this morning. It was great for them to learn how to give a quick 30-second testimony.

This evening many of the team went to a Eats, Beats & Jesus night where Jordan Peterson gave a short talk. There was opportunity for conversations and questions alongside some great food and music.

Please also be praying for…

  • Other opportunities to partner with fellow Christians in Wollongong. Pray that the Moore College students would continue to speak and act in love as we join our brothers and sisters in Christ at Bible studies, mid-week groups and in Church.
  • Please pray for Daniel Budd as he speaks tomorrow at the “Golden Link’, a gathering of mature aged believers at Corrimal Anglican.
  • Please pray for Mark Drama performances which are happening all over Wollongong, that people would bring their friends and family along to witness first hand this Good News!
  • Please pray for Robert Abboud as he prepares his sermon on John for this Sunday at Corrimal Anglican.
  • Please pray for the “Free to Be” event this Friday. There are currently around 2000 tickets sold. Please pray that the young people attending would come to believe in Jesus as their Lord.
