About Moore College

Since 1856, Moore College has been providing the best available theological training in order to prepare men and women as thoroughly and as effectively as possible for Christian ministry and mission.
Moore College’s vision is evangelical and international. Based on the Sydney campus at Newtown, Moore provides ministers for the Anglican Church in Sydney and also for other Diocese and denominations. Moore also trains Christian workers for ministries to women, children, youth, families, and cross-cultural mission. Students come to study from a wide range of church and cultural contexts, for enrolment in diploma, graduate and postgraduate courses. The college trains men and women at every level of its program.
Moore graduates serve the Lord Jesus in Australia, South-East Asia, China, Africa, Europe, the Middle-east, North and South America. They serve in roles including as church planters, pastors, school chaplains, Christian studies teachers and scripture teachers, university and church evangelists, cross-cultural workers, AFES staff workers, social workers, community workers, hospital and nursing home/retirement village chaplains and refugee advocacy workers.
